Did you know that there’s more than one type of testosterone floating around in your body? Most T boosters aim to boost Free Testosterone only. The difference between Ageless Male Max and Ageless Male Original is that Max boosts Total Testosterone and Free Testosterone. There’s a special ingredient in Max that I’ve recommended here on my site before.
In this review, I go over the Ageless Male Max ingredients, current user reviews, my review, potential side effects, and everything else you should know before you buy.

What is Ageless Male Max and how can it help you?
New Vitality – the company behind this supplement – calls Ageless Male Max its “most advanced formula yet” and considers it to be a major upgrade over the original Ageless Male formula.
The original formula contains just four active ingredients (very similar to Nugenix Free Testosterone Booster), and the Max version as you can see from the chart above contains a long list of ingredients.
Total Testosterone Boost + Nitric Oxide Boost
The key ingredient in the Max formula is KSM-66, a special form of full-spectrum Ashwagandha root extract that boosts Total Testosterone as opposed to Free Testosterone only.
I’ve taken ashwagandha root for years, and it’s one of my favorite male enhancement herbs to stack with other natural T boosters or take by itself. It also goes by the name “Indian Ginseng.”
People all over the world take KSM-66 to:
- Boost Energy
- Sleep Better at Night
- Boost Testosterone
- Ease Anxiety Symptoms
- Reverse Adrenal Fatigue
Unlike a lot of supplements on the market, there is science (*) to back up the effectiveness of ashwagandha root extract as a natural testosterone booster.
In addition to the KSM-66, New Vitality boosted the formula with a blend of fruit and vegetable powders that promote Nitric Oxide production in the body.
I previously outlined in my SuperBeets Review how Nitric Oxide acts as a vasodilator to increase blood flow and lower blood pressure.
Ageless Male Max Benefits
Now that you know Ageless Male Max works to boost Nitric Oxide production and Total Testosterone, here’s a list of the benefits New Vitality advertises:
- Increase Total T
- Boost Nitric Oxide by up to 64%
- Stress Relief
- Better Sleep
- Harder Workouts
- Enhanced Muscle Mass
- Burn More Fat (with Exercise)
You can imagine that promoting blood flow has a lot of other benefits for men, particularly in the bedroom. A lot of men seek to boost NO levels as a natural treatment for ED, and a lot of those men achieve the desired results.
Boosting Total T – and in turn, Free Testosterone – is one of the easiest ways to reclaim your manhood and start feeling alpha again (or even for the first time).
Current Ageless Male Max Reviews
As part of my analysis for each supplement I review, I examine user reports to identify the pros and cons.
Are men experiencing the advertised benefits or dumping money down the drain? Here’s what I found:
Overall, Ageless Male Max reviews are mixed with a lot more 5-star reviews than one-star. Most of both the positive and negative reviews appear authentic to me with a handful that could be fake on both sides of the fence.
As is the case with all supplements of this nature, they don’t work for everyone. Men who don’t get their desired results are quick to call the product a scam. It’s important to know that there’s no guarantee this product will work for you before you buy it.
My Ageless Male Max Review
Does Ageless Male Max work? Yes, it does. Here’s what I think about it.
The Max formula is much better suited for older men who are feeling the effects of lowered testosterone levels such as ED. Healthy men under 40 who are looking for an edge won’t experience many benefits with this product.
There’s no real reason for healthy young men to boost testosterone unless they’re seriously into bodybuilding. Men with healthy testosterone levels generally don’t need to raise their T levels.
As for the Nitric Oxide boosting formula, it’s a nice touch, but again, it’s best for older men. Since the proprietary blend equals just 100 mg total, bodybuilders won’t find much of an N.O. boost with this supplement.
Men over 50 will get more of an effect since they’re most likely not following a serious bodybuilding routine and just looking for enough of a boost to get their mojo going in the bedroom.
The ingredients in Ageless Male Max are sound, particularly the KSM-66 Ashwagandha Extract that’s a researched ingredient. One qualm I have is for the price, you can buy a full bottle of KSM-66 and get larger doses at a smaller cost.
On the flip side of the coin, when it comes to Ageless Male Max vs Nugenix Total-T, Max is certainly the more affordable supplement.
I like to go all-in when I do something, so for me, I’d rather buy a strong N.O. booster and a separate bottle of KSM-66. The vitamins and minerals in Max are negligible to me since I take 50 mg of zinc every couple of days. As for the Vitamin D3 and B Vitamins, I get enough of those from the food I eat.
|N.O. XT Nitric Oxide||Organic KSM-66|
These two products together cost about the same as a 30-day supply of Ageless Male Max. I like larger doses, and the KSM-66 above contains 1200 mg per daily serving, while Max contains 676 mg. The brand above also contains BioPerine for enhanced absorption.
The complete N.O. booster above with amino acids is a lot more powerful than the 100 mg N.O. booster in Ageless Male Max. For the sake of convenience, you may prefer to reach for Max instead of taking multiple supplements.
The reason I shared the two products above is to show you that there’s nothing so special in the Max formula that you can’t buy elsewhere.
Since the Max formula contains a Nitric Oxide boosting formula, it’s important to consider that side effects are more likely than with the original Ageless Male formula. Why? Nitric Oxide increases blood flow and has the ability to lower blood pressure naturally which can lead to undesired effects for some men.
These are the Ageless Male Max side effects I found reported by users during my review:
- An undesired drop in blood pressure
- General sickness
Aside from the handful of side effects listed above, the worst-case scenario is feeling nothing except a smaller wad of cash in your pocket after taking the supplement.
How long should it take to work?
One important note I do want to point out before you buy is the claim New Vitality makes in its advertising to sell more of this product. They claim that it can take months for the product to start working.
In my opinion, this is untrue and a bit shady on their part. If you’re not feeling any effects after a full 30-day supply, that’s enough time to be sure that the product doesn’t work for you.
It’s best to look elsewhere for a supplement that works for you instead of chasing an effect that’ll never happen by buying more of this supplement.
Refer back to the alternative products in the chart above because the dosages in the Max formula may be too small for you.
Where to Buy Ageless Male Max
If you can’t find it locally or want to save money by ordering it online, then go directly to New Vitality.
There are currently 1, 2, and 3-packs available.
By now you know that Ageless Male Max shouldn’t be considered Superman in a bottle. It’s an average supplement with rather light dosages of effective ingredients.
Men who are over 50 and aren’t accustomed to taking powerful supplements are the best candidates to reap the testosterone and Nitric Oxide boosting benefits from this supplement.
Healthy men who are under 50 most likely won’t feel much of a boost from this product and may want to stick with supplements that provide more ample doses of the key ingredients.
If you’re one of the unlucky contestants who don’t feel the effects, at least you have the money-back guarantee. The key is to not let New Vitality convince you that you need to take more of the product to feel the effects after you ask for a refund.
No effects after 30 days equal no effects ever.
