What is Ageless Male and what does it do?

The key ingredient is “Testofen,” a form of fenugreek seed extract that boosts free testosterone levels. Outside of Testofen, zinc and magnesium are also used by men to boost testosterone.

You may have seen the popular bodybuilding supplement “ZMA” before, which is comprised of zinc, magnesium, and Vitamin B6. I personally have taken zinc for over five years, and it works quite well for boosting my manliness.

This supplement is essentially a mixture of ZMA and Testofen® created at MIT, and it does work. Most bodybuilders take ZMA before bed to recover faster and get a better night’s sleep.

As you can see, there’s an overlap between the two supplements’ ingredients. In my opinion, there’s no clear-cut winner, but there are important points to consider before you buy that I outline below:

The key consideration to make before you choose between the two is whether Nugenix is worth the extra money? While I do believe both products work, personally I choose Ageless Male.

Why? I like ZMA, and Testofen is the key ingredient in both products. I’m better off taking Tribulus separately and eating more watermelon (I love watermelon) to get my L-citrulline.

The extra price for the B-12, L-citrulline, and Tribulus isn’t worth it in my opinion, especially since Nugenix costs about double and leaves out the magnesium.

Side Effects

Is Ageless Male safe? Are there side effects? Side effects are a part of the equation for all supplements. The question is how bad and how frequent are they?

Before I list the side effects that I discovered while analyzing the reviews, I want to say this supplement is safe. If this product weren’t safe, it would have been taken off the shelves many moons ago.

There’s also nothing in the ingredients that are unsafe. Bodybuilders have been taking ZMA for ages, and Testofen® is a clinically-researched ingredient.

Reported side effects are few and far between for this supplement. I usually find a lot more during my reviews. The worst “side effect” is that this blend simply does not work for some men.

My Ageless Male Review

Now it’s time for my thoughts on this product. I’ve tried a lot of herbs, vitamins, and blends. Over a decade of experience with supplements has led me to make my own capsules, take larger doses of herbs that I know work, skip vitamins for the most part, and stick to zinc.

I know a lot of guys are eager to find a magic pill or all-in-1 supplement that they can take to boost testosterone and feel more manly again.

In my honest opinion, this stuff works but only when it’s combined with a healthy diet and exercise. On its own, it won’t do much at all for most men.

There’s also the fact that supplements don’t work for everyone. If you fall into the group of men who don’t feel the benefits of the ingredients, then you’re out some dough.

If you’re eager to decide which supplement is better between Ageless Male and Nugenix, I would start with the former since it costs less, and the ingredients are essentially the same.

Ultimately, if it doesn’t work for you, there’s a good chance that Nugenix won’t either.

The greatest advantage of buying Ageless Male is convenience. Instead of keeping up with several supplements, you only have to remember to take 1 tablet twice a day. This may be a luxury for men with struggling memories.

Since Ageless Male is basically ZMA mixed with Testofen®, there’s the option to buy each supplement separately. The two supplements mentioned below give you a 60-day supply of essentially the same formula.

The best part? The dosages for each ingredient are bigger, which means you get a better chance of feeling the effects.

FenuTrax is a 60-day supply of fenugreek seed extract with 1000mg per serving as opposed to the 600mg daily serving in Ageless Male.

PrimaForce ZMA is the brand I’ve used on and off for years with good results. Their product is lab-tested and widely used by bodybuilders.

Bottom Line

Does Ageless Male work? The final answer is yes, although that yes is relative. It really depends on your expectations before you buy it.

The men who are more likely to be let down are the men who think this supplement will turn them into Superman. That’s not going to happen 100% of the time with natural supps.

Men who buy with the right expectations and are responsive to the ingredients will undoubtedly like this supplement. Personally, I would choose to buy the fenugreek seed extract and ZMA separately to get larger doses, but that also means taking more pills throughout the day.

For the sake of convenience, this supplement may be your best bet to see if Testofen works for you. It’s certainly a better decision to test this one before Nugenix since Nugenix costs considerably more.

If you find that it works for you, then it could be worth giving Nugenix a shot.

There are also a lot of similar blends floating around for lower prices. The difference is a lot of them contain fenugreek seed extract that’s a copy of Testofen®. Keep in mind that Ageless Male contains authentic Testofen®.

The bottom line, this supplement is worth a shot, just don’t expect the world in return.
